Extraordinary and legendary Nate ‘Impact’ Jolley is best known for turning talented musicians into worldwide success stories.
Currently the Executive Producer on Good Music recording artist Malik Yusef’s upcoming album, Nate apprised this role previously for Malik’s Mixtape Leaquel to great success.
He is also leading the production of Andrew Garcia’s upcoming album. Despite being a much-loved contestant on American Idol, Andrew is best known for his presence on YouTube. Nate’s experience of turning YouTubers into international music sensations makes him a stellar pick as head of production, with success stories such as Asia Major to his name already.
Having started out as a musician himself, Nate understands exactly what artists need in order to reach their potential. He is a multi-instrumentalist and composer, with experience of writing and performing. Noted in particular for his excellence on drums, Nate previously created music with his twin brother Noble. The pair released a CD titled Memoirs Between Brothers to award-winning success and Nate went on to produce the Emmy award-winning show BET Rap It Up Tour mixtape which starred hip-hop legend Jadakiss & 2Chainz
As a talented musician, Nate is also a highly sought after educator and has completed residencies at the Kennedy Center, Strathmore, Anguilla Jazz Festival and Litchfield Jazz Camp. His musical gifts have seen him travel the world from Cuba to Paris and St Lucia to Puerto Rico.
A graduate of John Hopkins with a degree in Jazz Studies, when Nate wasn’t creating his own music, he began by working alongside artists such as John legend, Ron Carter, James Moody and McCoy Tuner, in every field from production to opening to touring.
When he moved to Los Angeles two years ago, Nate opened his own recording studio on Hollywood Boulevard. He is currently recording with Kenny Lattimore of Motown Gospel, King Los of RCA Records and Malik Yusef. The musician turned producer also founded his own Production company Ready Set Impact alongside Jeannie Jones.
The producer of two music competitions for B.Smith, Nate has discovered a whole world outside of direct music production. He’s taken part in a friendly basketball competition with one of his idols Wynton Marsalis, meanwhile maintaining the goal to continue to share and produce excellent music.
